For those of you who remember the foot and mouth disaster, and the total lockdown of communities, spraying vehicles and persons – that is only a glimpse of what we are dealing with now. I remember doing long shifts, special duties (SAPS) for months (18 months at the time).
Do not underestimate the challenge that lies ahead.
On a personal note, we are busy with our farm and have had our first round of meetings in which almost all families will remain on the farm for six months in order to provide safety for all of us.
- All staff will be transported by us.
- Their immediate family and extended family are taken care of and informed as to the protocols.
- Round one of food and hygiene supplies have been purchased. We are busy with a plan for future purchasing, but I think online and one person collection will be the way to go.
- We are rolling out the AAA-Response App (FREE) with a focused support by the National and International ERPC for COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
- Planning for our businesses and passion operations to serve our country are taking place.
These include Bundu NetworX, Together SA CAN NPO, VCAT NPO (Violent Crimes & Technology Support), TrackBox Technologies, SACVIA (South African Crime Victims Industry Association), Advanced CoDriver Assistance Centre, National SNIPR™ Validation Centre – Together SA CAN NPO, SVS (Specialised Victim Support) and farming operations. Each one is going to require smart approaches, taking into account that we all need to do our bit.
Even harder to face: prepare for the fact that once this gets into areas and communities that we cannot control, it’s going to be hard and painful and is going to hurt our nation at its core. We must do all we can to help every human being and unite with local, provincial, national and international efforts. Now is not the time for “he said, she said” or being distracted by propaganda or skirmishes on the side-lines.
It’s pretty safe to say that almost everything else is on pause while we unite to stamp this out and save lives.
Please look out for the updates from the various CEO’s, Directors and line management.
We also need to do all we can to keep all businesses in our country operational and sustainable, so please be loyal customers and continue to invest, purchase and help all leadership with their approaches to help their staff, families and us their customer base that powers everything.
In love, light, dreams and tunnel-vision passion!
