Hi South Africa, my family, my heart…

I can honestly say I sure have missed writing to you all and there is no valid reason not to keep you well informed.

We have not spoken for a long while and I made at SA CAN over the past six months.

So many members, community leaders, the general public, local, provincial and national police management have said that no matter how much I am out there with the teams in the proverbial trenches and dark holes, contrasted with the bright lights of boardrooms with my six scope design whiteboards and long nights with my war in the mirror to help change South Africa, I must always write home… So, for my lack of communication, I apologise.

Please, Let’s stay connected.

I need you now more than I have ever needed my fellow South Africans to help drive the passion, purpose and our dream for South Africa. Let’s stay together and work on our friendship, care for one another and for our country. Murder, rape and violent crime is why we joined forces in the first place and it’s essential for us to keep our bond of friendship intact for the good of all.

Still going strong

SA CAN has made innovative strides in the community security sector. Project Mustard Seed was launched in March 2016 and this 6-month project was created on behalf of SA CAN’s members and was aimed at assisting the SAPS, The Hawks and Crime Intelligence with the apprehension of South Africa’s most violent criminals. Due to the remarkable success of this project which was repeatedly extended for 6-month periods at a time, it was decided to keep it as a permanent, ongoing project.

The results speak for themselves with:

  • R300 000 000+ million in recovered goods
  • 1,721 Priority One arrests
  • 416 Firearms recovered
  • 72 Vehicles recovered

TrackBox Patented App

Our AAA-Response App (released in 2017) now has close to 36,000+ active downloads, and is helping shape the way South Africans deal with emergencies. The patented technology within the app contains a number of innovative features, unique to the AAAResponse platform.
